Introduction to Yoga Workshop Series

Practitioners will be introduced to the many aspects of yoga,

the physical and breathing practices and their physiological benefits,

history and philosophy of yoga and a hint of meditation.

Enrollees will develop a strong, stable and properly aligned physical practice.

A variety of  breathing techniques will be taught.

Proper breathing will improve concentration and clarity,

help manage stress and create a greater sense of well-being.

The series is for those starting out as well as those wanting deepen their knowledge and practice of yoga.

September 17th,  October 8th, November 12th  and December 3rd.

Attend single sessions or all four.

Investment: Single sessions- $25.00

Four sessions- $90.00

Those enrolled in any of the workshops are entitled a  $50.00 discount a

ONE MONTH UNLIMITED PASS.

Meditation and Breathing- Sundays 5:45-6:30 pm

Join Joanie on Sunday evenings for a meditation and breathing practice.

Class will include a short physical practice to prepare the body for a successful

meditation as well as a variety of breathing techniques sure to

improve consciousness, clarity and focus.

Practitioner will leave feeling rested, relaxed and centered.

Arrive in comfortable clothing, having had a light meal or snack.

Restorative Yoga with Reiki and Meditation

Join Reiki Master Lauren for 75 minutes of healing and relaxation.  Practitioners will begin with a sourcing mediation, then lead through a series of restorative postures while Reiki is being administered.  Aroma and sound therapies are offered.  Class ends in a grounding meditation.

Begins Sundays -12:00-1:15 pm.

Yoga for Backs -Thursdays at 5:00 pm

This class is designed to build core strength as well as back strength and flexibility. Joanie  leads  practitioners through a series of simple postures designed to alleviate back discomfort and  improve posture. Breathing techniques are offered to help reduce stress and anxiety that often times contribute to back discomfort. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
