Reiki Certification

What is Reiki? Reiki is a century-old Japanese healing technique based on the principle of channeling energy. Reiki practitioners transfer energy from the universe into the patient to activate the body’s natural healing process. Physical and emotional healing through the use of touch has existed as long as humans. Learn how to utilize symbols and attunements to enhance this healing art.

Reiki Level I certification is an initiation to Reiki and is open to all. Students will learn the history of Reiki and Reiki principles.  After receiving a gentle introduction and attunement to the energy, students will be able to channel reiki energy to give healing to themselves and others.

Reiki Level II is the practitioner level and brings enhanced healing power through the introduction of and attunement to the symbols. Students will receive a deeper understanding of Reiki healing energy and will learn specific techniques to channel Reiki across distances.

Reiki Master Level – Becoming a Reiki Master is a path for those with the guidance to live their lives through the ideals of the Reiki laws and with deep desires to grow. Reiki III certification will be an 8-hour class going deeper into our healing energy, symbols, techniques, and knowledge that will add tremendous value to your healing abilities.  You will also receive the master attunement and the use of the master symbol. Treating others and treating yourself will be noticeably improved and you will be able to formally teach and attune others if you choose to follow that path.  One of the greatest joys of becoming a Reiki Master is that it increases your personal vibration which in turn adds to the vibration of the entire planet. Feelings of compassion and love for all will be strengthened as you merge with Reiki Consciousness. (For Master Level: Students must already be attuned to  Reiki I and II. We will also be creating a healing circle. If you have something that you would like to place in the circle to be cleansed with unconditional love, please do so. This can be crystals, tarot/oracle cards, sentimental jewelry, pictures, etc.)

Bring a lunch, water, notepad and wear comfy clothes. Registration is available at MindBody.

Introducing: Breath & Bowls with Lauren

The main goal of Soma Breath is to correct your breathing so that your normal rate of breathing at rest is 3-4 breaths per minute. On average, people breathe 10+ breaths per minute. Very sick or highly stressed people breathe over 20+ breaths per minute. Soma Breath can help protect against disease, balance your emotions and help you be more in the flow.

When you are overly emotionally stressed due to the burdens of everyday living, your body switches on the same physiological response as when under physical stress i.e. when doing strenuous physical exercise. Your oxygen demand goes up and you breathe faster and shallower, even though you do not need to consume as much oxygen as if doing exercise.

If you imagine you have a fire in your body, just any fire, oxygen is needed for the fire to burn. However, too much oxygen causes the fire to burn too brightly, causing damage. Too little oxygen, the fire doesn’t burn at all, and no energy is created. Just the right amount of oxygen is required.

Just like metal rusts in the presence of oxygen, so does your body, and it’s called oxidative stress. Oxygen control is necessary to prevent oxidative stress in the body. Antioxidants in food is necessary to prevent oxidative stress that causes free radical damage to cells. So correct breathing means less food is required.

Therefore, being able to breathe less, manage stress and still function efficiently is the goal of Soma Breath. Becoming highly efficient at using oxygen means you become highly efficient at creating energy and therefore you become healthier, stronger and happier as a result.

Breathwork also has the power to peel back the many layers of your psyche, revealing your subconscious meta-programming. These are hardwired beliefs, habits and imprints that have shaped your future and world view since birth. Through special breathing exercises combined with hypnotic suggestion, that is The Awakening ritual, you can re-imprint the subconscious operating system with a new, more empowered set of habits and beliefs that will lead to your eventual liberation and un-robotization.

Your breath shall set you free…

Join Lauren as she leads you through an incredible 2-hour journey of healing, breathwork, guided meditation and sound.

We will begin with our 40-minute Breathwork session. Please refrain from eating about 2 hours before the session. Once the breath and meditation is complete, the integration will fully take place as you relax on your mat listening to the hypnotic sounds of the singing bowls and gong. Before the session is complete, Lauren will walk around and administer Reiki to all those who desire to receive it.
